Savitri continued her promising rise with a dominant victory at the Caulfield Heath track on Wednesday March 18, securing her second win from just four career starts. The performance not only highlighted her natural talent but also carried added significance, boosting her residual value and strengthening the appeal of her already impressive pedigree.

Coming out of a very strong form race where she took on the older horses, Savitri was able to step up and deliver, driving away to a soft victory on the line. The increase in distance proved to be in Savitri’s preference and whilst she still can be a bit keen in the early stages of her races, she will continue to improve her race craft with more experience under her belt.

Trainer Mitch Freedman was full of praise following the win, expressing confidence in what lies ahead. “She’s still learning, but there’s no doubt she has a very bright future, we will likely return to return to the races on April 11 and beyond that, turn our attention toward Adelaide in some stakes level races providing everything goes to plan.”
