Chantra made an emphatic return to the races at Echuca, producing a dominant first-up performance over 1200 metres to put her rivals away with ease.

Settling back in the field with the intention to make one strong run, Chantra looked to be building into the race well and dashed clear from the 100m, extending her advantage to the line in impressive fashion. The daughter of Puissance De Lune that has been leased out to the Mitch Freedman Racing team looks to have shown a good level of improvement this preparation and this first-up win really sets the benchmark for her campaign going forward as a mare who can progress through the grades as the distances increase.
