Yoomee Wonder Too Good at Ararat

Yoomee Wonder continued her impressive rise through the ranks with a dominant victory at Ararat on Monday, March 30, bringing up the third win of her career in style. Dropping back in grade, Yoomee Wonder justified being sent around the favourite, winning by 1.75 lengths.

Trainer Mitch Freedman was pleased with the effort, noting that the mare has continued to go from strength to strength this campaign. “We felt this race was a great option for her just coming back in grade slightly. She has been running well at mid-week and Friday night level, so it was great to capitalise on this opportunity, and we do think she has a city win in her at some stage.”

“The team at home do a great job managing this mare, she is a pleasure to have around the stable, but does require some work to keep on top of her muscles and keep her moving as best she can”

Yoomee Wonder’s win was the Freedman’s team fifth for the month of March and Freedman has cemented himself within the top twenty of the Victorian Trainers Premiership, with an impressive strike rate of 13%.

Congratulations to the connections of Yoomee Wonder!
