Skydream broke through at Kilmore on Monday, taking out the Taylors Hill Retirement Village Maiden Plate over 1450 metres with John Allen aboard.

She put the race away to win by three and three-quarter lengths, with a further four lengths back to third.

To date, Skydream perhaps hasn't replicated the class we've seen at home, but she will take great confidence from this win and is the type of mare that can soar through the grades.
