Savitri scored at Mornington on Saturday, taking out the Big Screen Company Benchmark 70 over 1500 metres and bringing up Mitch Freedman Racing's 400th career winner.

She jumped well and John Allen let her flow early, settling her into a rhythm before she kicked clear in the straight.

Breaking from the field she took home the win by three and a quarter lengths from second, with a further four and a half lengths back to third.

Savitri carried 62 kilograms on a Soft 5 and ran 1:31.28. The So You Think mare has now won four of her eight starts, and she was competitive at the highest-level last preparation, contesting the Group 1 Australasian Oaks in April.
