Attrition has won the $2 million Hill Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday, taking the race out for a second time in three years.

Attrition has truly stamped himself as 'The King Of The Hill' joining an illustrious list of dual Hill Stakes winners, featuring champions such as Desert War and the one and only, Phar Lap.

It was a fantastic race, Lindermann was strong and gave a good kick in the straight, yet Attrition under a perfect ride from Jamie Mott wound him in, fiercely competitive and got his head down right in time.

It has been a fruitful spring for Attrittion so far, with a Group 1 placing in the Underwood Stakes and another Group 2 win, taking his career earnings above $4.3million - an incredible achievement.

We look forward to seeing Attrition running again in the Cox Plate, where he finished fourth last year.

Congratulations to all connections!
