Stable star Attrition added a third Group 1 placing to his CV with a bold showing in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes on Saturday September 19.
The seven-year-old veteran has raced in nine Group 1 races to date and finished first, second, third and fourth at the highest level, earning more than $3.2million for his connections.
Freedman said post-race "We've learnt that he is a horse that does his best work third and fourth up in his preparations and this is no exception. The Autumn didn't work out, so we gave him a good break and it's really pleasing to see him return to form. We are thoroughly looking forward to the remainder of the Spring, he seems to be going as well as ever."
Attrition will likely head back up the Hume to race in the Group 2 Hill Stakes for the third year in a row on Saturday October 10. He won this race two years ago and was runner up last year.
